Sweet, Dark, and Quietly Indulgent
There are certain things that need no justification — only a little patience and the right finishing touch. Bacon, rendered slow in the oven until the fat runs and the edges begin to curl, is already a study in transformation. But when you introduce the deep, syrupy pull of a balsamic reduction, something shifts. The sweet meets the salt, the dark meets the savory, and what comes out is something richer and more considered than it had any obligation to be. A small thing, made a little more beautiful.
