Sweet, Bright, and Gently Complex
There is a particular kind of pleasure in a dessert that asks almost nothing of you and still feels abundant. Cannoli belong to a long tradition of patience — the careful frying, the cool filling, the moment of assembly. This version strips that tradition down to its most honest elements and lets a few quiet additions do the real work. Balsamic deepens what might otherwise be simple sweetness, and mint lifts everything just enough. The result is something that tastes considered, without ever feeling labored.
