When Chocolate Meets Something Crunchy

There is a particular pleasure in the act of dipping — the slow, deliberate pull of something firm through warm, yielding chocolate. It asks nothing of you except a moment of stillness and attention. Cantuccini, with their dry crumb and quiet sweetness, were almost made for this. They hold their shape, absorb just enough, and emerge transformed — still themselves, but softer at the edges. This is less a recipe than a ritual. A small, unhurried act of making something ordinary feel abundant.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces chocolate dipping sauce
  • 1 package Alessi Cantuccini (or other Alessi Cookie)

Instructions

  1. Line a plate with wax paper. Prepare chocolate dip according to package directions.
  2. Dip cantuccini half way into chocolate sauce and place on parchment paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to harden.
