Layered, Soft, and Quietly Indulgent
Tiramisu is a recipe that carries memory in every layer. There's something almost ceremonial about the process — the brief dip, the careful stacking, the slow cloud of cocoa that settles over the top. Making it small doesn't diminish that feeling; if anything, it concentrates it. These little trifles ask nothing of you except a moment of patience and the willingness to let something simple become something tender. They are the kind of dessert you set out quietly and watch disappear just as quietly.
