Bitter, Bright, and Gently Bold
A good vinaigrette rarely announces itself. It simply changes everything it touches — lifting the bitter edge of tender greens, softening into something unexpectedly round and full. This one carries the quiet warmth of balsamic reduction alongside the bright lift of orange zest, two things that shouldn't work as well together as they do. There's a patience built into a dressing like this. It rewards the slow whisk, the small taste, the moment you realize simple things, done with intention, are often the most generous.
