Something Bright, Something Still
There's a particular kind of pleasure in a drink that asks nothing of you — no heat, no hovering, no timing. Just a gentle shake, a slow pour, and a moment to settle. This mocktail moves between the soft sweetness of pear and the quiet bite of ginger, grounded by a small, dark ribbon of balsamic that deepens everything it touches. It's the kind of glass you set on a table and let breathe, the kind that makes an ordinary afternoon feel a little more considered.
