Italian Style Sliders

These lean into their Italian roots with quiet conviction: the depth of concentrated tomato, the gentle sharpness of Parmesan folded into the meat, the brightness of pesto waiting at the end. They come together quickly, but they don't taste hurried. Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Italian parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Alessi Garlic Puree
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Alessi Double Concentrated Tomato Paste
  • Alessi Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper, to taste
  • 10 slices Provolone cheese
  • 10 small rolls, sliced in half
  • 1/4 cups Alessi Pesto

Instructions

  1. In a food processor add the parsley and garlic puree.
  2. Pulse until finely chopped.
  3. Add the ground beef, Parmesan, tomato paste, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pulse until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  5. Form into 10 even patties and grill until done to your likeness, about 5 minutes each side.
  6. When almost finished, top with cheese and let melt.
  7. Brush the inside of the rolls with pesto and toast on the grill for about 2 minutes.
  8. Place a cooked patty inside each roll and serve hot.
