In saucepan over medium heat add olive oil, onion and garlic puree and sauté until onions are soft and translucent; season with salt and pepper. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add orzo and stir for a minute. Cover pot and reduce heat to simmer.

Cook 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until broth is absorbed and pasta is tender. Stir in parmesan and season with salt and pepper.
