Fried Mozzarella Balls

Ingredients
- 1/2 cups Vigo Pure Olive Oil
- 8 ounces small mozzarella balls
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water
- 1 cup Alessi Italian Style Seasoned Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 cups Alessi Smooth Marinara, for dippingAdd Alessi Smooth Marinara, for dipping to cart
Directions
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Drain mozzarella balls and pat dry. Place flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in three shallow bowls.
Dredge mozzarella in flour, then egg wash and then coat in breadcrumbs. Fry in olive oil until golden brown on all sides, about 1 minute. Drain on a paper towel and serve with warm marinara.
